Bloggers Welcome...Bloggers Welcome in this place

The Vatican is hosting a meeting with the international blogging community...“to allow for a dialogue between bloggers and Church representatives, to listen to the experiences of those who are actively involved in this arena, and to achieve a greater understanding of the needs of that community.”

Lets hope that some of the more zealously orthodox are among the attendees and have a truly productive dialogue. Likewise, let's hope that the some times unaware Vatican officials don't allow the Trojan horse loose in Vatican City. I would assume that we wouldn't have to worry to much about that, with both the Swiss Guards and the Holy Spirit the wiles of the devil can't accomplish too much in the City of God.

Pray if you want your marriage to work!

Fr. Johnathan on Fox News gives a great Catholic Witness that couples that pray together stay together. He mentions that couples that pray EVERY DAY only have a .3% chance of divorce. Pray, Pray, Pray every day!

Janet Smith Weighs in about Christopher West Criticism

It seems that Janet Smith has some serious issues with the criticisms that Christopher West is receiving about his presentation of Pope John Paul II's Theology of the Body. I am in agreement with her wonderful online article. Most of the critics that I have read demonstrate that they are not familiar with West's true position concerning the Theology of the Body and secondly that they have no understanding of how the popular media's modus operandi is the sound bite news.

The Criticism of Christopher West has arisen in response to his interview concerning the Theology of the Body on the ABC network.

Are Young Jesuits Turning the Tide Toward Orthodoxy?

I must say that this past Sunday I was truly impressed at what I heard from the pulpit. I was sitting in a Jesuit parish and heard a defense of Humanae Vitae from the celebrant a young Jesuit Priest. I must say, most people in the pews where not taken aback as I was. This, to me, is a beautiful but yet subtle sign of the re-emergence of orthodoxy in the Catholic Church in the United States. Smaller ordination classes but yet exquisite exemplars of Christ emerging none the less.

I wish to just say a few words about the significance and importance of the teaching found in Humanae Vitae. Why do those who oppose the Catholic Church's teaching on contraception as an intrinsically evil act, never look at the facts nor evaluate the Church's argument. But I wish not to waste time rambling on woes of the fool and hard-hearted. This teaching is a beautiful gem in the mist of a rocky and sandy society. I must say that seeing the young Catholics within the Church today is a wonderful delight. Those youngsters who enter the Churches seeking Christ and then leave the Churches to strengthen one another and build a culture of life. Most of all it is truly awesome seeing these young Catholics and their zeal for the truth, especially and surprisingly the truth that is found in the teaching of Humanae Vitae. They see the cheapening of the human person in the evil act which is contraception. They understand that there is more to life then "causal" bodily pleasures, because if there isn't is life really worth living? Can human sexuality be a participation in the divine, something sacred, something to be reverenced? Or is human sexuality another casualty to corrupt conduct, a mere convenience for the sexual convict. This profound teaching echoes as a voice in the wilderness, it is the voice of Christ, it is the teaching of Humanae Vitae. I wish to extend an invitation to those reading this post to look up the actual letter online at the Vatican's website:

Read it, ponder it in your mind and heart and see what you come up with.
Since my last post the most excellent Bishop Burke was called over seas in order to serve a tour of duty in the Holy See. This is a loss for the Church in the United States but yet a wonderful gain for the Catholic (universal) Church all over the world. God's will is being accomplished and that is all we can ask for. Let us continue to pray and stand up for orthodoxy within the Catholic Church in the United States. Let not our hearts be troubled; but let us believe in God. (cf. Jn 14:1)

The End is Near...For Heterodoxy in the United States

Bishop Finn, Archbishop Burke, Bishop Provost...only to name a few. These are some of the new appointments of Bishops in the United States. These men in the recent months have shown that enough is enough with Heterodoxy within the Catholic Church in the United States. And get ready they are coming to a diocese near you!

I have seen great men and women of fervent faith at "Catholic" Universities and within Diocesan bureaucracies banned from telling the truths of the Catholic Faith in the United States. How long will this go on? Not much longer. The best part is that all these propagators of heterodoxy within the Catholic Church will all be confronted with the truth of Christ yet again when a strong and faithful Shepard is placed in their mist, something that the United States has forgotten within its infection of ignorance. Yes, I have heard from sources that our current Roman Pontiff, Benedict XVI, is paying very very very close attention to the appointment of Bishops. Why you may ask, because he realizes that what good is it to put forth a teaching if it will only be rejected by those who are entrusted to lay down their life for it.
I believe our first reaction as anonymous Catholics is to pray for the conversion of ourselves and for all of these persons who have become enemies of Christ and His Bride the Catholic Church.
Since this is the first post of this blog I wish to explain the title for it. The title Anonymous Catholicism is in order to give witness to all those faithful Catholics who have been persecuted in the Catholic Church by those heterodox individuals who hold and have held power within the Church. Those persons who have suffered all kinds of evils for the sake of the name of Jesus and His Vicar on earth, the Roman Pontiff. Lord Jesus give us your grace that we all may persevere to the end.
